Find out what we learned from our Ependymoma Outcomes Projects (patient symptoms, function status and costs encountered by patients and families).

Patients with ependymoma are highly affected by their symptoms. Spinal patients report higher severity of symptoms especially more numbness, fatigue and  weakness. Brain tumor patients had increased lack of appetite. Patients with lower income had more problems concentrating. The estimated average monthly out-of-pocket spending was $168 for medical co-pays and $59 for prescription medication.
